Every rank in scouting is reached by accomplishments by the scout. These requirements are age-appropriate activities that help grow and mold the boy into a self-sufficient, confident, able man.  These are documents that can be helpful in understanding the Rank Advancement guideline from both the BSA and Troop 482
  • BSA Guidelines : These are the current guidelines from the Boy Scouts of America.
  • Troop Guidelines: These are the guideline established for our troop.
  • Find your A.C. : Identify your scouts Advancement Coordinator
  • Troop Position : These are positions that a scout to advance to Star, Life and Eagle ranks.
  • Rank Requirements : These are requirements that a scout needs to complete for each rank (e.g., Tenderfoot, Second Class, etc...). They can also be found in the Scout Handbook. Note: Older handbooks may not have the most current requirements.
