Our troop camps once a month. In the warm weather we sleep in tents. In the winter we stay in a cabin. Our troop provides the tents used
by the scouts. Your child will need some basic equipment whether in tents or cabin. He will need a good sleeping bag, mess kit and
utensils, flashlight, cup (with a lid), sleeping bag pad. He must also have a pair of hiking boots (not snow boots). Eventually your child will
need an external frame backpack. However since this can be a costly item, we recommend you wait to see if your child stays in the
